CREW Sends FOIA Request to Dept. of Health and Human Services on Abstinance Only Funding
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Department of Health and Human Services to determine the details of its grant-making policy to organizations for abstinence education programs. CREW has determined that some of these organizations are providing false and misleading information to pregnant teenagers about abortions.
