FEC FINES REP. TED POE $25,000 AFTER CREW FILES COMPLAINT
The FEC has dismissed CREW’s complaint against Poe for Congress, not because the committee did not violate the law, but just because the FEC views it as a “low-rated matter.” Nevertheless, the campaign committee was forced to pay a $25,000 fine for failing to properly report receipts, disbursements and cash on hand.
