CREW Sues Secret Service over Refusal to Release White House Records of Stephen Payne Visits

White HouseCREW sued the U.S. Department of Homeland Security over the refusal of the Secret Service, a DHS component, to respond to CREW's Freedom of Information Act request for White House visitor records of Stephen Payne. Mr. Payne, a lobbyist with access to top White House officials, is accused of selling access to White House officials in exchange for contributions to the Bush Presidential Library.
