CREW Tele-News Conference on Gov. Palins Efforts to Undermine Ethics Inquiry from Day One
Washington, D.C. – Alaska Governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has been quietly undermining the ethics inquiry into her firing of Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan from the beginning, even as she publicly pledged her full cooperation.
TODAY - Thursday, September 4 at an 11:00 AM EST TELE-NEWS CONFERENCE, Melanie Sloan, former prosecutor and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) executive director, will provide an analysis of the contrast between Gov. Palin’s pledged cooperation and secret subversion on the ethics inquiry.
CREW will then post both a timeline of the investigation, as well as a detailed breakdown of Gov. Palin’s supposed public cooperation versus her efforts to undermine the investigation, every step of the way.
