Washington, D.C. - The FEC has dismissed CREW’s complaint against Poe for Congress, not because the committee did not violate the law, but just because the FEC views it as a “low-rated matter.” Nevertheless, the campaign committee was forced to pay a $25,000 fine for failing to properly report receipts, disbursements and cash on hand.
