CREW V. U.S. Department of Education (Ignite!)
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed suit against the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) after the DOE failed to respond to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. The FOIA, sent May 16, 2007, requested Education documents relating to Ignite! Learning. The DOE contended that the May 16 request did not reasonably describe the records sought.
