NEWLY DISCLOSED SECRET SERVICE RECORDS OF WH VISITOR LOGS

Snowy White House

21 Sep 2006 // On September 20, 2006, the White House made available to a number of individuals certain Secret Service records of White House visits during select years by Jack Abramoff, Michael Scanlon, Grover Norquist, Patrick Pizella, Ralph Reed, and David Safavian. Although CREW has a FOIA request with the Secret Service for many of these records, it has yet to receive copies from the Bush Administration, but was able to secure them from an outside source (Download the 98 megabyte PDF document here). Missing from these documents are Secret Service records of White House visits that predate October 2004 – the Secret Service admits to destroying those documents once it made copies for the White House.
