18 Feb 2006 // If you had time to peruse the entire Web site of The Center for Union Facts -- but you don't -- you'd come across 3.8 million small bits and large bites of information about the labor movement.
Folks, it's ugly. The Web site -- UnionFacts.com -- categorizes the information nicely. The Leftist agenda, the racketeering, the fines, the convictions, the magnificent, unearned salaries for union bosses. It's all here.
Union members might be astounded to discover they do have rights -- not many, but some. Workers also can learn that their dues or forced agency fees are being shoveled into pinko causes they don't agree with or don't care about.
No question about it, when you get a comprehensive picture of big labor, the disgust factor will send you darting to the nearest porcelain receptacle.
The Center for Union Facts announced its pro-worker campaign in a full-page ad each in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The New York Times.
"The New Union Label" title spreads over two lines on top of the page. Under is a photograph of a padlocked plant gate on which hangs a sign reading "CLOSED." Below is this: "Brought to you by the union 'leaders' who helped bankrupt steel, auto, and airline companies."
Would anyone from around these parts doubt that indictment?
