CREW SENDS FOIA REQUESTS SEEKING RECORD-KEEPING POLICIES TO SEVEN AGENCIES

22 May 2007 // Today Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) sent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to seven agencies seeking copies of all record-keeping guidance and policies. CREW is trying to determine whether agency non-compliance with federal record-keeping laws and regulations, especially as to email, is a government-wide problem.

The seven agencies are the Department of Agriculture, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Justice, Department of Labor and Department of State.
