Ambassador Joseph Wilson responds to court decision: We are committed to seeing this case through
Following the dismissal by a Federal District Court Judge of Valerie Plame Wilson and Joseph Wilson's case against prominent members of the Bush administration, Ambassador Joseph Wilson made the following statement:
This case is not just about what top government officials did to Valerie and me. We brought this suit because we strongly believe that politicizing intelligence ultimately serves only to undermine the security of our nation. Today's decision is just the first step in what we have always known would be a long legal battle and we are committed to seeing this case through.
This is not over. Far from it. CREW's Melanie Sloan, who is one of the lawyers representing the Wilsons, indicated that they intend to file an appeal:
While the Wilsons' lawyers are reviewing the decision, they anticipate filing an appeal. Melanie Sloan, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington ("CREW"), one of the Wilsons' lawyers, said today, "While we are obviously very disappointed by today’s decision, we have always expected that this case would ultimately be decided by a higher court." Sloan continued, "We disagree with the court's holding and intend to pursue this case vigorously to protect all Americans from vindictive government officials who abuse their power for their own political ends."

This organization is one of the most dishonest reprehensible that I have yet to see.
The taking of political differences into the tort arena is beyond despicable, because political differences are to be settled in elections and legislative bodies, not in the courts, if you desire to preserve the republic.
By attempting to move this pack of lies from the Wllson's and the dems into the courts the need for tort reform is again demonstrated. I can only hope that the blow back from this abuse of the legal system gets the right people, and they are on the left.
The Roman's civilization of nearly a thousand years perished under the weight of their inability to work out solutions to their problems. And, the use of the courts to punish political enemies, is not the way to build bridges and solve problems. It makes little issues into major distractions from accomplishing civility and progress in the congress.
The left dems, this organization and the wilson's are not part of the solution, they are the problem.

which strangled the imperial fisc. This country is threatened by rampant corruption, which needs to be fought on every conceivable front. Corruption is the problem, and tort is one means to fight it.
