Senator Leahy considering perjury against Alberto Gonzales
The stakes have been raised by the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Senator Leahy believes the Attorney General gave testimony to his committee that doesn't match the facts. Gonzales either has to change his testimony -- or face a perjury inquiry:
[Senate Judiciary Chair Patrick] Leahy (D-Vt.) told reporters he is giving Gonzales until late next week to revise his testimony about the surveillance program or he will ask Justice Department Inspector General Glenn A. Fine to conduct a perjury inquiry: "I'll ask the inspector general to determine who's telling the truth."
Justice Department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse said yesterday that Gonzales "stands by his testimony," and that "the disagreement . . . was not about the particular intelligence activity that has been publicly described by the president. It was about other highly classified intelligence activities."
DNI spokesman Ross Feinstein referred questions to the Justice Department.
The dispute represents the latest political difficulty for Gonzales, who endured a four-hour grilling from Leahy's committee on Tuesday and has been under fire all year for his handling of the firings of nine U.S. attorneys last year. The panel's members openly attacked Gonzales's credibility on a variety of matters.

Would like Leahy to explain how he plans to enforce this: President and DoJ seem to have, on the Miers-Bolton issues, said they aren't going to enforce the law. why is Leahy expecting anything else with Abu Fredo?
Even if the President commits Genocide, prisoner abuse, and other illegal things, Congress says it's not going to imeach. What does Leahy plan to use as his ultimate leverage? He doesn't appear to have any.

Rockefeller IV is incorrect
Rockefeller IV is incorrect in the referring article. There was more than just the communications program the president spoke of. There was a White House spy program involving its control of NSA that installed without electronic surveillance search warrants 10 mm cameras into people's bedrooms, as well as public spaces in their homes.
White House staff were being perverts/degenerates/deviants and the 3 layoffs in March of 2006 (starting with Andy Card), 1 in early April of 2006 and final layoff May 27, 2006 all were related. The layoffs were announced either early in the week or on weekends as though there had been a raid on desks done when staff went home for the weekend, and contraband found that led to White House staff dismissals.
I reside more than 300 miles from the White House and haven't been to the White House for about 30 years since I was a tourist. I never have crossed paths with anyone working within the White House, so know not a soul who works in the White House. Cameras were installed into my home as punishment because I enabled a company to decline a 100 % financing package with a wrapper of the Russian Federal Government. In reality, the offer was from FSB members (former KGB), turned oligarchs and more commonly known as Mafia. The unwritten rule to secure a U.S. Department of Homeland Security contract is companies are required to have the Russian mob as majority shareholders. Management thought we were doing right by Americans when we turned-down the original financing offer that was extended for 1 1/2 years, and later 2 buyout offers, but to date, we remain punished! The Russian mob is financing homegrown terror cells in western democracies so that we keep buying the solutions we already bought from their investment companies, and likely too, financed 911 so we would buy from their investment companies from the start. Their dry run to see if this strategy might work occurred beginning in Russia in 1999 with the bombing of Chechnyan apartment buildings killing 300 people, and there are a slew of dead journalists trying to teach us this, whose voice no longer is heard since dead people don't talk.
In February of 2006 US AG Gonzales told newspapers nationwide that there were other White House spy programs the president doesn't know about. This is another way of saying that Vice President Cheney knew about them. VP Cheney could be no more closely linked to the Russian FSB with his assets being primarily in Lockheed and Halliburton--two Russian companies! These two companies do the Russian FSB's biddings, not the U.S.' and if Cheney didn't want his shares to take a nose dive, he would do anything the Russian Mafia wanted! Placing illicit cameras in my bedrooms, then posting the images to the internet and calling the county Police Commissioner's office to have me taken into custody for felonies was far from the only way the White House staff tried to remove me from commission so I was cut-off from the company and it would be forced to accept one of the Russian offers!
Camera installations require a ton of extra electrical work and the extensive damage done to my home's electrical remains instact to prove there were other White House spy programs! I am paying for worldwide patent arguments now and haven't $ 20,000 rattling as spare change in my pocket to have all the damage undone to a home with electrical that is just 20 years old! Rockefeller IV is wrong provable by a quick look into my utility closet! As for the 2004 argument at Ashcroft's bedside...the first illicit cameras were installed in 11/02! The first illicit cameras stuck in bedrooms was 2/03! The next illicit camera stuck in my bedroom was 2/04! Uncle Sam's name is not on the deed of my home and I never would have agreed to any camera being put in its interior! The illicit surveillance systems involving 10 mm cameras started well before Comey's rushing to Ashcroft's bedside to head-off US AG Gonzales and Andrew Card. Furthermore, how come Card was fired but Gonzales wasn't when both wanted the illicit camera surveillance program to continue? Gonzales is as guilty as Andy Card and both were coconspirators to my many year cyber-gang rape!
