Anchorage Daily News notes CREW's top ten scandals
CREW's report, The Top Ten Ethics Scandals of 2007, got a mention in the home state newspaper of one of the lists designees. The Anchorage Daily News, which has been very, very busy covering federal and state corruption this year, noted, of course, the placement of Ted Stevens on the list:
Ted Stevens holds spot on ethics scandal list. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has come out with its top 10 ethics scandals of 2007 — and “Ted Stevens still sitting on Senate Appropriations” is listed No. 2. CREW urged that the Alaska senator step down from the influential committee after the FBI searched his Girdwood home last summer.
Congratulations!
Congratulations for your victory to have the secret service visitor logs released as public records. You have made another crack in the tightly guarded wall of our extremely secretive administration. I hope this crack is widened to reveal more truth.
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!
For the work you are doing.

Stevens should be tied for # 1 on CREW's list!
The administration wants to pin all ethics failings on members of Congress and claim they misled the administration b/c it is to become public that the ethics breaches have an underlying link to the Russian Mafia and 911 coconspirators.
Thanks to CREW, the administration will have a far tougher time escaping the truth that it was just as bribed by the Russian Mafia as many current and former members of Congress were/are.
Stevens...he should be # 1 on CREW's list and tie that position with Lewis who, too, remains on the Appropriations Committee doing favor upon favor in exchange for lucrative campaign contributions and gifts laundered through US corporations with giant Russian subsidiaries. The duo are keenly aware the true origin of the money they are receiving is 911 blood money!
For the first time with the plea deal of Weldon's former Chief of Staff approximately 2 weeks ago, the US DOJ Public Integrity Division brought onboard the Organized Crime and Racketeering section. The signature page shows this. As if a 76 pp document obtained under FOIA by the San Diego Tribune from the FBI hadn't enough of a foreshadowing in a footnote telling that Cunningham knew his coconspirator # 3 briber was Russian mob, this most recent plea deal sets the tone of what can be expected to arise in every trial, indictment and plea deal linked to the Cunningham and Abramoff corruption probes from here forth!
Lewis and Stevens should be tried with treason as their most severe charge! I am certain they know that their mafia bribers requesting in exchange that contracts be awarded to mob investment companies via Lewis and Stevens' earmarks, orchestrated 911. It should be of no surprise since the mob has no value for life, and will pull any scam possible to derive a financial benefit from criminal activities. When a person commits an official act for the mob, they have made themselves apart of the mafia crime network...a member of the mob. When a person commits an official act for another government that isn't to the benefit of Americans, they are a spy...and traitor!
