3/03: start of the largest govt reorganization in US history!

In March of 2003 the White House Office of Homeland Security became the Department of Homeland Security, and the largest reorganization in this nation's history began! 87 congressional committees and subcommittees used to oversee the Department, and now it is 86.

CREW now has learned that there wasn't a single WH email preserved for the first 6 months of this government's largest reorganization!

Meanwhile, Karl Rove was violating The Hatch Act, including with the DHS and the proof of his criminal deeds was erased! How convenient for Rove and the Bush Administration!!!

Must we now be concerned that the US DHS, too, didn't preserve its emails so that emails sent from White House employees to DHS officials mean White House officials can't be implicated in corruption probes?
