CREW releases "Those Who Dared: 30 Who Stood Up for Our Country" honoring individuals who stood up against government misconduct
Today, CREW has released its newest study, Those Who Dared: 30 Who Stood Up for Our Country, recognizing the brave individuals who have acted and spoken out against unethical and dishonorable conduct in the Bush administration. The full report can be found here.
The actions of those named in the report are as varied as the people themselves and cut across the federal government. Some, like Glenn Fine at the Department of Justice and John Higgins at the Department of Education, are inspectors general who have been the only check on agency-wide corruption, misconduct and undue political influence. Others are included for a single act of courage, such as Army Specialist Joseph Darby who turned over to authorities the now infamous pictures of detainee abuse at Abu Ghraib, and former Deputy Attorney General James Comey, who rushed to Attorney General Ashcroft’s hospital bedside to prevent top White House officials from pressuring the Attorney General to approve an illegal surveillance program.
In creating the list, CREW reviewed hundreds of news articles, inspector general reports, and congressional reports, and considered the impact of each individual’s actions, the changes they wrought, and the risks they faced.

As the Bush administration draws to a close, CREW commends those who stood up against the full weight of the federal government to do the right thing, risking their livelihoods and, in some cases, even their lives. These individuals personify the American values of honesty and integrity. Although some have already been recognized as heroes, others have been vilified for daring to say what no one else would. By publicly recognizing the courage of these people, CREW hopes others will be encouraged to join the fight against government misconduct.
While CREW has tried to be comprehensive, there may well be inadvertent omissions. CREW will update Those Who Dared on-line as other individuals who exhibited the same level of integrity are identified.
US Senate Select committee of Ethics lost Charge against S.Obama
On 25APR2008 the US Senate select Committee of Ethics received a legal brief charging Sen. Obama with violation of Moral Deterioration. After 2 months I started contacting the Senate Ethic committee once a week to inquire what the status of the charges were. I was informed that the Senate Ethic committee persons must research it and will get back to my by calling me. After no response I called the next week and was given the same response. So far 4 times, once each week I been told that it will be researched and then someone will contact me. Not once has any one contacted me. One staff member of Sen. Coburn suggested before i sent it that it may get lost in security checks, the person who signed for it on 25APR2008, the Senate Ethic Committee has confirmed that person works for them.
Let me ask Americans some questions;
You all know who Lee Harvey Oswald is right?
Did you know that the FBI terminology manuals and other online sources of what is terrorism, is those who set bombs, and that terrorist use assassination too. So did you know that persons who assassinate another or set bombs is a terrorist.
Did you know that terrorist attacks from persons from outside the United States are classified terrorist, verses persons who live inside the United States who commit act of terrorisms is classified as a domestic terrorist.
Did you know that is a US Senator had befriends Lee Harvey Oswald after he assassinated JKF, that Senator would be guilty of Moral Deterioration as it would reflect poorly on the US Senate.
William Ayers who admits to setting many bombs, as many as 30 it been reported, and who state he should of set more bombs, by his own admission he is a Domestic Terrorist, who has committed 30 plus acts of terrorism, is 30 times worst than Lee Harvey Oswald who only committed one act of terrorism.
Sen. Obama stated it okay to be friends with Williams Ayers as he was never convicted as he got off on a technically. Did Americans know that Lee Harvey Oswald was never convicted.
Those Americans who plan to vote for Sen. Obama for President, how would you feel if Sen. McCain admitted to befriending JFK after Lee Harvey Oswald did assassinate President JKF? I bet you would be screaming your outrage.
All American who plan to vote for Sen. Obama who stated there is nothing wrong to befriend William Ayers, ( a domestic terrorist), that with your vote, you are urinating on the grave of ever American who ever died by acts of terrorism. i.e. those killed in the 911 attacks, and the Beirut Marine Barracks bombing in 1983 and so many others. Americans have become a country of me, me, me-errs who care only for themselves no matter right or wrong. What will out children learn from Sen.. Obama’s Moral Deterioration. I fear..
An American who cares.

When Sen. Obama and his supports state something is not true, without proving it. That what Sen. Obama and his supports are doing is using rumor to quench facts.
Education vs. American Conservatism
What a great proof of why the American right suffers such an inferiority complex, and always whines about elitists who can spell, punctuate and construct minimally competently argued positional statements.
The American right's opposition to education funding has nothing to do with bureaucracies or whatever. It has everything to do with these people not having to face the truth that conservatism is the political home of the intellectually lower half of any society, at any time.

Dzwilewski is an American patriot and hero! He was pushed-out of his post because of his loyalty to the U.S. and its laws, and unwillingness to appease rotten political appointees. His immediate subordinates, too, were pushed-out.
One of the investigations Dzwilewski's team handled was the investigation of the CIA's former Executive Director, Kyle "Dusty" Foggo. Foggo's trial begins the day before Election Day--delayed so as not to sway the Election's results. When evidence is heard during Foggo's trial, Dzwilewski and his team will shine all that much more than already they do today!
The FBI experienced a major "brain drain" when Dzwilewski and his team were themselves pushed-out of their jobs for political reasons because they defended Carol Lam's performance. Shame on Robert Mueller for punishing the FBI's top performers and sabotaging FBI morale!!!
