CREW CALLS ON HOUSE TO RESTORE ETHICS COMMITTEE

15 Mar 2005 // Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) participated in a Congressional Ethics Coalition news conference calling on the House of Representatives to restore the ethics committee’s ability to enforce the House ethics rules and standards.

In addition, CREW called upon members of both parties to vote in favor of Minority Leader Pelosi’s Privileged Resolution to establish a bipartisan ethics task force that would make recommendations to restore public confidence in the ethics process.
