Many women exercise the Choice simply because they realize they cannot be the parent a child deserves and needs. They realize that if they carry to term, they won't be the parent that prevents their teen from becoming pregnant at age 17.

Palin sets me off for a somewhat related reason. My great aunt just died at the age of 94 late this past spring. In the 1930s she became the first female radio announcer. In the 1940s she became the first female investment banker. My great aunt didn't have children and didn't marry for a first time until her mid-forties. She did what she had to do to break gender barriers, and that meant children would be a burden.

Palin is very proud of her business success as a sports broadcaster. It is nice she could achieve that and, too, be a mother. She should not lose sight that the glass ceiling she says she broke to achieve that, was very splintered by many women after my great aunt broke-out the first pieces of glass. It is because of the sacrifices of people such as my great aunt that the environment was more willing to accept Palin and her motherhood.

I am a female entrepreneur awaiting the Stevens and Foggo trials to begin. For nearly 7 years I had to make business decisions against my financial best interests and nearly all that time challenging our government's extradition of my company into the control of another government. The other government is not a democracy and sometime after the election it will be learnt it was behind 911. Early into this plight I knew we were declining mob blood money. Not until 14 months ago did I realize it was "911 blood money."

I have been pregnant 3 times under the most unlikely of circumstances. I am 41 and if at any time during the last 7 years I had become pregnant (stopped dating to make sure it didn't happen) the other government would control my company's technology because at this age I most definitely would have exercised the choice to have the child. I have >$ 2.5 million keeping the company from the control of the non-democracy and only $ 90 K left going into the trials, so for certain, US DOJ is doing drama! I only was able to found my company's first US launch in 7/02 when receiving a letter from an obscure DOD office telling me how to because in the past I used sound judgment to abort a blastula and glastulas. If Palin had her wish to end the Choice and I been able to carry to term, I wouldn't have kept my employer from the other government's control but made the child/children my highest and only priority.

It is nice that Palin thinks highly of her business successes, but for someone like me I see them as archaic and she's not a role model. Palin's success as a sports broadcaster was the progression that emerged from my great aunt's hard work. It is the 21st century now and the US was attacked at its onset. I am one of many female entrepreneurs who introduced to our government out-of-the-box solutions that preserve our democratic way of life. As the Goliath defense contractors with their obsolete ideas bribed members of Congress to pass sleazy earmarks that breached the 1998 Federal Inventories Reform Act and FAR, we've gone for years without a salary that would be necessary to maintain children. This new generation of female entrepreneurs haven't supportive husbands and we're in the same situation as my great aunt was where having children would have made bringing our ideas to fruition impossible.

There are new glass ceilings being broken now and they're far higher than Palin pursued in the business sector. Palin practically is my age so there are those of us the same age as her reaching higher than she did. We're in the same boat as the women breaking gender barriers 2 generations ago were; we cannot have children if we hope to succeed. There will be many women to follow in Palin's footsteps in the business sector, but if Palin gets her wish, there will be no more women following in the footsteps of the newest female tech entrepreneurs. Will the US successfully defend itself against another attack when Palin eliminates possibly half the ideas that could have been introduced to government that could have enabled the US to stay many steps ahead of its enemies? It is highly unlikely the next attack will be averted if Palin gets her wish to push her personal values on women trying to defend the US and its citizens diverse opinions. This newer generation of female homeland defense entrepreneurs are trying to defend the US so that even more women can be sports broadcasters and be like Palin. However, Palin's Pro-Life standing makes clear she doesn't want any American, including female sports broadcasters to be protected if it means that female homeland defense entrepreneurs had to be without children and exercise the Choice so that the protection could be implemented.

Need I say that Palin is a train wreck! Her archaic views setback women to the 1930s--right after we finally secured the suffrage, my great aunt obtained the equivalent career Palin did and before women earned the right to Choose. Palin's views undermine McCain's homeland defense strengths because the McCain and Palin Pro-Life standing removes female homeland defense entrepreneurs from the US' pipeline. While McCain is greatly misled, I pick on Palin because of her age and being a woman which both mean she should know a whole lot better than clearly she does.
