7 Oct 2009 // Washington, D.C. – On Monday, United States District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan granted the Department of Justice (DOJ) a 30-day extension of the Court’s October 1st order to produce notes of the interview former Vice President Cheney gave to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as part of Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald’s investigation into the leak of Valerie Plame Wilson’s covert identity. DOJ sought the extension to consider whether it will file an appeal.
