CREW Urges House & Senate Legislative Appropriations Subcommittees to Allow CRS Reports to be Public

Today CREW joined other transparency groups in urging members of the House and Senate Legislative Appropriations Subcommittees to drop language that bars the Congressional Research Service (CRS) from using appropriated funds to make CRS reports publicly available.   Removing this language will eliminate a legislative stumbling block that currently frustrates efforts to promote the authorized publication of these reports.
