Vitter wants to use campaign contributions for legal expenses in D.C. Madam case

4 Jul 2008 // U.S. Sen. David Vitter, R-La., is seeking to use more than $100,000 from his campaign contributions to pay off legal bills he incurred during the D.C. Madam scandal, and observers say he will likely get it.

He has filed the request with the Federal Elections Commission.
