CREW Sends FOIA Requests to DOJ & ATF Seeking Directives Requiring Clearance of Firearms Investigations
8 Mar 2007 // Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) has sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") and the Department of Justice ("DOJ") in order to determine the details of any directives that require these agencies to seek clearance before performing any firearms investigations.
