Companies Tied to Koch Donor Network Spent At Least $35 Million Lobbying in 2014

Companies closely tied to donors who fund the Koch brothers’ political network are spending millions of dollars to influence policymakers, according to new research by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). These companies spent at least $35 million lobbying the federal government in 2014 alone, although the actual number is almost certainly much higher as most of the members of the Koch network remain secret.
