At a press event in the lobby of Trump Tower – New York City, during which President Trump appeared with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, the president responded to whether he would visit Charlottesville, Virginia in the wake of violent protesting by white supremacists by referring to Trump Vineyard Estates. “I own a house in Charlottesville…I own actually one of the largest wineries in the United States. It’s in Charlottesville,” President Trump said. According to The New York Daily News, the winery is actually owned by Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization.
