According to CREW’s analysis of IRS and FEC records, political committees spent more than $1.2 million during President Trump’s first year in office. The top spenders were President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign ($556,103), Republican Governors Association ($408,588), and Republican National Committee ($176,813). Thirty-two members of Congress spent money at Trump properties. Top spenders were MacArthur Victory ($15,221), Rohrabacher for Congress ($12,545), and Bill Shuster for Congress ($9,277).
