The Washington Post reported that federal political committees spent at least $1.27 million at Trump properties between November 8, 2016 and September 30, 2017, including the Trump campaign, two affiliated committees, and forty Republican congressional leadership PACs and campaign committees. Top congressional spenders were Representatives Jodey Arrington (R-TX), Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), Bill Shuster (R-PA), Michael McCaul (R-TX), Greg Walden (R-OR), Roger Williams (R-TX), Mike Kelly (R-PA), and Senator John Neely Kennedy (R-LA), who all spent at Trump International Hotel – Washington, D.C., and Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-NJ), who spent at Trump National Golf Club – Bedminster, N.J.
