Politico reported that a “lobbying firm working for Saudi Arabia paid for a room at Donald Trump’s Washington hotel after Inauguration Day, marking the first publicly known payment on behalf of a foreign government to a Trump property since he became president.” The firm, Qorvis MSLGroup, was organizing veterans and activists to urge Congress to repeal the law allowing 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia. At least one of the veterans stayed at the Trump hotel between January 23 and January 26.
