In a statement released after going hunting and fishing with Donald Trump, Jr., West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice appeared to tie meeting with the president’s son to future work with the Trump White House. “We talked about the enormous potential of West Virginia and how we have opportunities to create jobs,” Gov. Justice said of his time with Trump, Jr. “The Trumps care deeply about our people and I look forward to working with the White House to get federal resources here to help our state in a number of different areas.”
