CREW & Noah Bookbinder sue FEC to act on Conservative Solutions PAC
CREW has voluntarily dismissed from this case. Read the notice of dismissal below.
CREW & Noah Bookbinder (collectively “Plaintiffs”) sued the FEC on March 1, 2018 for its failure to act on an administrative complaint against Andrew Duncan, IGX LLC, Conservative Solutions PAC, and Nancy H. Watkins for violating the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971’s (“FECA” or “the Act”) ban on making political contributions in the name of another, knowingly permitting one’s name to be used to effect a contribution in the name of another, and knowingly accepting a contribution made by one person in the name of another. The complaint was filed more than two years ago, and so far the FEC has failed to act on it.
Therefore, Plaintiffs seek injunctive and declaratory relief under the FECA.
