CREW sues US DOGE Service to compel transparency

CREW is suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Citizens and Immigration Services (USCIS) following their failure to respond to requests for records on DHS’s data sharing agreements with states and state entities for the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (“SAVE”) program.

CREW is suing DHS for failing to preserve text messaging data and NARA for its failure to initiate enforcement against these violations.

Communications between DOGE and the VA, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Education and CFPB should be public.
