CREW filed 55 public records requests today for communications between gun interest groups and state legislators in Arizona, Wisconsin, Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon. The requests seek to provide insight into whether and to what extent gun groups like the National Rifle Association (NRA) and Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund (Everytown) influence policy making decisions at the state level.
