CREW sent a letter to all United States Senators calling on them to take all possible measures to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act, including changing the Senate rules if necessary. The Freedom to Vote Act would ensure every citizen’s ability to vote freely and safely, combat election sabotage, restrict the use of dark money in elections, and stop partisan gerrymandering.

The federal government should more aggressively regulate tech giants that have allowed misinformation and abuse to spread on social media.

CREW has submitted a comment to NARA encouraging a revision of their records appraisal policies and a commitment to reform that includes and accounts for the interests and viewpoints of “underserved communities.”

CREW called on Senator James Lankford to recuse from any Senate Ethics Committee investigations of Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley.
