Tracking Trump's visits to his properties and other conflicts of interest

President Trump’s brokers have made 29 trades of private prison stocks since he returned to office, with the first purchases on only the tenth day of his second term, according to CREW’s analysis of his most recent financial disclosure and other disclosures.

CREW has identified for the first time that Freedom 250 seemingly “presented” an event that President Trump profited from through his properties. The proceeds from the event at Mar-a-Lago appear to have benefitted a nonprofit which previously only raised tens of thousands of dollars and whose founder is a friend of Donald Trump Jr. 

Since Donald Trump reentered office in January 2025, he has made more visits to his properties than there have been weekend days in his term.

Freedom 250, which is funding Trump’s July Fourth events, allows corporations to give millions of dollars to Trump’s pet projects.

Sixteen Trump-appointed EPA officials were paid more than $2.8 million by chemical companies and trade groups before they joined the agency that oversees the industry.
