CREW received records from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of the lawsuit that reveal important context for McCabe’s firing and Rod Rosenstein’s defense of the investigation of McCabe’s firing. The records show how certain members of the administration sought to defend McCabe. They also shed light on his media contacts and Jim Comey’s knowledge of them.
