Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross made millions of dollars in outside income last year while serving in President Trump’s Cabinet, according to documents obtained by CREW.

According to CREW’s analysis of Ross’ 2019 personal financial disclosures, the Commerce Secretary made between $2,649,867-$12,897,924 in addition to his government salary. Ross, who is one of the richest Cabinet members in recent memory, despite a history of over-inflating his net-worth, disclosed an art collection he values at more than $50 million.

Since joining the administration, Ross’ finances have been a lightning rod for controversy, ranging from issues with divestment to complaints over full disclosure and conflicts of interest.
