Freedom Vote Inc., a nonprofit organization funded by anonymous donors, spent the vast majority of its funds on federal campaign, effectively acting like a political committee while failing to register and disclose as one. Despite these findings by the FEC, Freedom Vote was never required to register as a political committee or to disclose its funding sources as other political committees do.
