CREW submitted comments today with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) in response to the Proposal to Rescind Advisory Opinion 2006-15 (TransCanada) (Agenda Doc. No. 16-32-A), urging the Commission to take strong action and modernize its rules to respond to the increased risk of foreign influence.

CREW filed a complaint with the IRS stating that the Donald J. Trump Foundation appears to have illegally given $25,000 to a political organization associated with Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi while her office was reportedly considering joining a lawsuit involving Trump University and failed to disclose the contribution in its taxes.

CREW files second supplement to NRA complaint with the IRS

CREW filed a second supplement to its original complaint against the National Rifle Association (NRA), in which it showed that the NRA failed to disclose more than $1 million in contributions to major Democratic and Republican leadership groups, bringing their total undisclosed political spending to nearly $60 million since 2008.

CREW files Rubio and Fulop PAC complaints with FEC
